Mike brings 15 years’ experience designing, implementing and maintaining quality and health and safety systems across heavy industry, including steel making, mining, quarrying, forestry, wood processing, and high voltage manufacturing. With a strong background in enterprise risk, he offers a structured and systems-focused approach. Now applying that expertise within the construction sector, Mike is focused on supporting Friday Homes to meet its quality objectives and deliver exceptional homes to clients.

With nine years at Friday Homes, Simon plays a central role in leading our construction delivery. As Build Team Manager, he oversees our build and landscape teams, ensuring strong coordination, clear communication, and consistent standards across projects. His practical experience and steady leadership help keep our sites running efficiently and our teams supported.

With over 20 years of experience, Hamish delivers excellence in all areas of construction. Starting as a builder and spending 15 years in project management, he has an in-depth understanding of the entire construction process. His attention to detail and commitment to quality make him the perfect fit for your next build project.

Joel brings over a decade of experience in the property market across Australia and New Zealand. He has helped clients purchase their first homes, identify investment opportunities, support development projects, and design custom homes. His strategic, design-focused approach has built lifelong relationships, which he now brings to the Friday Homes team.

Brooke brings extensive residential construction experience, supporting every stage of the new home journey. Her expertise spans sales support, quantity surveying, property analysis, lead generation, client liaison, and interior and exterior design, while collaborating across every division of Friday Homes.

Her vision is to deliver a seamless, transparent, and enjoyable experience, guiding every client from their first conversation through to moving into their new Friday Home.

Supporting our New Build Consultants and clients throughout each stage of the new home journey, Jamie brings a friendly approach, clear communication, and strong organisational skills. He helps keep details on track and ensures clients feel informed and supported from their first enquiry through to handover.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Penne has designed homes across New Zealand, Australia, and Asia - from compact family flats to expansive executive homes. As a registered Architect, and qualifications in both draughting and Interior Architecture, she brings thoughtful, functional design expertise that transforms ideas into beautifully crafted homes ready for construction.

With six years of experience in residential architecture, Liam has worked across new builds, renovations, and developments. A graduate of Victoria University of Wellington, he brings strong design and detailing expertise to create functional, comfortable, and enjoyable homes. Liam takes pride in understanding each brief and developing thoughtful, innovative solutions that help clients realise their dream home.

Natalie is an architectural designer with a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design, graduating with first class honours. With experience in New Zealand and the UK, she brings a sharp eye for detail and buildability. She prepares building consent documentation and works closely with architects, consultants, and engineers to bring designs together, taking pride in turning thoughtful concepts into homes ready to build.

Paul recently completed his Master’s in Architecture, focusing on medium-density housing and engineered timber design. As part of the design team, he supports a wide range of architectural detailing and documentation work, helping bring projects together from concept through to consent. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time mountain biking and exploring the outdoors.

Chris brings a can-do attitude and a relentless drive for perfection to every project. With a background as a qualified builder and extensive experience managing large-scale operations, he blends practical know-how with strategic oversight - ensuring every Friday Homes build is delivered efficiently, expertly, and to the highest possible standard.

Andrew is a seasoned construction professional with 41 years of industry experience and nine years as a valued member of the Friday Homes team. Born and raised in Wellington, he brings deep local knowledge, practical expertise, and a steady, reliable approach to every project he is involved in, helping ensure each home is built with care and confidence.

Jamie brings 13 years of industry experience to Friday Homes, drawing on his background as a trade-qualified builder and former self-employed contractor. He coordinates contractors and suppliers, manages materials, schedules site activity, and supports builders with daily queries. His practical know-how and steady on-site coordination help keep our projects running smoothly.

Q helps ensure that our builds meet Friday Homes’ standards for quality, timing, and budget. With a career spent entirely in construction, from apprentice to foreman and later commercial roles in the UK and Wellington, he brings strong communication and on-site expertise to every project. Outside of work, you’ll find him on the Circle Irk podcast or performing in the Wellington comedy scene.

Originally from the UK, Jake spent time working as a chef before making the move to New Zealand 12 years ago and transitioning into the construction industry. With four years at Friday Homes, he brings a practical, hands-on approach to his role, helping coordinate day-to-day site activity and keep projects progressing smoothly. His strong work ethic and people-focused approach make him a valued part of the team.

Russell plays a fundamental role in preparing sites for construction, coordinating excavations and managing our internal and external earthworks teams. His work ensures each site is ready for the build phase to begin, setting projects up for a smooth and efficient start. With a practical, hands-on approach, Russell helps lay the groundwork for successful builds across Friday Homes.
