With over 20 years of experience, Hamish delivers excellence in all areas of construction. Starting as a builder and spending 15 years in project management, he has an in-depth understanding of the entire construction process. His attention to detail and commitment to quality make him the perfect fit for your next build project.
Joel Steens
New-Build Consultant
Joel brings over a decade of experience in the property market across Australia and New Zealand. He has helped clients purchase their first homes, identify investment opportunities, support development projects, and design custom homes. His strategic, design-focused approach has built lifelong relationships, which he now brings to the Friday Homes team.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Penne has designed homes across New Zealand, Australia, and Asia - from compact family flats to expansive executive homes. A Master Builders Gold Award recipient in 2023, she brings thoughtful, functional design expertise that transforms ideas into beautifully crafted homes ready for construction.

Mike’s career blends hands-on building experience with over 12 years in architectural design. Beginning as a labourer and carpenter before completing his design and architecture studies, he brings both practical insight and creative thinking to his work. Jamie Gaskin
Project Manager
Jamie brings 13 years of industry experience to Friday Homes, drawing on his background as a trade-qualified builder and former self-employed contractor. He coordinates contractors and suppliers, manages materials, schedules site activity, and supports builders with daily queries. His practical know-how and steady on-site coordination help keep our projects running smoothly.
Quentin Potts
Project Manager
Q helps ensure that our builds meet Friday Homes’ standards for quality, timing, and budget. With a career spent entirely in construction, from apprentice to foreman and later commercial roles in the UK and Wellington, he brings strong communication and on-site expertise to every project. Outside of work, you’ll find him on the Circle Irk podcast or performing in the Wellington comedy scene.

Hayden helps keep our projects running smoothly through clear progress updates, organised material ordering, and careful budget and schedule management. With 11 years at Friday Homes, he has grown from apprentice to qualified builder and site manager before moving into his current role. He enjoys the variety of challenges each day brings and is committed to delivering well-run, reliable projects for our clients.
